S.C. M AIR TECHNICAL TRAINING INSTITUTE was set up by Late S.C. Moitra in the year 1948. He started it with 20 students as a Coaching Centre for Ground Maintenance Engineers. This Institute, is the pioneer Institute in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. The Wing of ATTI was spread over Middle East, African Countries & Sub continental Neighbours.They have occupied covetted posts in Air India,DGCA and IA etc.

Students from African Countries, Middle East, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal, were regular members of this Institute. Students of this Institute have distinguished themselves in Aviation Industry/Department.

The Institute has grown in stature and added two more professional courses, the Diploma in Automobile Engineering and the Diploma in Computer Science & Technology. These courses are approved by AICTE and affiliated to W.B. State Council of Technical Education.

Departments are well equipped with Training aids/Testers/Laboratories and experienced Teachers with long association with the Industries. We update our laboratories with the contemporary gadgets to keep abreast.

For direct admission:
1.Aptitude Test & Oral Test are taken before admission.
2.At present the Diploma holders (Automobile, Computer Science & Technology) are entitled for lateral entry in the 2nd year of Engineering Degree Courses. In future, there is a bright prospect that the Diploma holders may be allowed in 3rd year of the degree courses.
